Batwing

This is a steel, suspended looping coaster at Six Flags America.  You start on your back with lots of harness holding you down and then when you're at the top of the hill circling to the drop, the track twists you to the bottom so you're facing head first down the hill and lying on your stomach against the harness!  This coaster goes through loops and corkscrews, all while you're laying down "flying" along!  Great concept and a fun ride, but it is a little uncomfortable.  The g forces on this ride go from pulling your face off to pushing the flesh back into your head!  That part is very well done!

Top Speed:  50+ mph

Height:  115 feet

Length:  3340 feet

Loops:  1 vertical loop, 1 double corkscrew

Score:  7 out of 10
