Jess and Carl have a baby.  Yes, she's here now!

Carl is now officially addicted to something.  Puzzle Pirates.  It's an online game that you do puzzles in to sail a ship and you're a pirate.  It's very kewl, and can be a huge time sink.  www.puzzlepirates.com is the web address for the game, and it's a lot of fun.  Just look for Foilistc in the game and I'll help you along.  I'm currently playing exclusively on the Cobalt Ocean.

Carl and Jess will be traveling to a few North America Cup fencing tourneys this year, and hope to get to several east coast events as well.  

Carl's hand surgery has healed to almost 100% and fencing will resume in earnest the week of his birthday.  

Carl is planning to go to Seattle sometime in the fall to see Jeff and to make a CD of tunes with his bro.  Should be interesting to say the very least.  

One hundred and forty pound Bree just is still doing fabulously!  She needs to get out of the house and see people more, as she's shy as can be, but she's just like a mastiff.  How fortunate as she IS a mastiff!

Way back on Labor Day 2004 Jess and Carl went hiking up Crabtree Falls here in the George Washington National Forest in Virginia.  Click here for picts.  Hoping to make the same trip this year and take picts again with Kali in tow!
